Terms of sale for direct editions, signed stock, and ebook downloads.
Seller
This is an independent author storefront. Titles are published by Bad Character Books. Every order placed here is a direct sale from Billy Haddad Books, a small Australian business. Prices are shown and charged in AUD. Payment is processed by Stripe. Your purchase may show on your statement as Bad Character Books or Billy Haddad Books, depending on your bank.
Orders
By completing checkout you agree to these terms. Ebooks are available to buy now. Signed paperbacks and other physical editions are not yet open for sale; when they are, fulfilment details will follow the Shipping page.
Refunds
Because this is a small independent store, change-of-mind refunds are not available for ebooks once payment has succeeded. If something is wrong with your ebook — a corrupt file, a download that will not open, or any other delivery problem — please contact us first and we will sort it out, usually with a replacement download. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law; if an ebook has a major failure you may be entitled to a refund or other remedies. When physical editions open for sale in Australia, unread returns in original condition will be accepted within 30 days of delivery unless the product page states otherwise.
Intellectual property
Ebooks are licensed to the buyer for personal reading. Redistribution or resale is not permitted. All titles remain the copyright of Billy Haddad and Bad Character Books.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Questions about an order can be sent through the contact page.
